For the second time in his career, Shane van Gisbergen won a debut race for the NASCAR Cup Series® on a road course. Just as he did in the streets of Chicago in 2023, van Gisbergen dominated the Viva Mexico 250 at Mexico City’s Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez. The Trackhouse Racing driver earned the pole starting position, led 60 of the 100 laps, and cruised to a victory margin of more than 16 seconds for his second-career victory.
